Hi, I’m David. I’ve been helping brands connect with people on the internet for the last 10 years.
These days, I’m a Global Senior Interactive Strategist at TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles, finding new ways for Apple to share big ideas with the world.
I landed in the Golden State after surviving seven years of Midwestern winters in Chicago, where I built award-winning social presences for brands like Nissan, Subway, and VMware.
I’m unabashedly a numbers guy. I love getting lost in the data and unearthing the tiny yet impactful insights others miss. I’m also a firm believer that the only way to stay ahead is by constantly questioning (and testing) what you think you know.
But I’m not entirely left-brained. I’m passionate about staying connected to culture and smashing my filter bubbles. From the weird corners of Reddit to Sunday night HBO, I know you have to understand the conversation if you want to make your brand a part of it.
Outside the office, you’ll find me doing a little culinary cultural immersion at your neighborhood hole-in-the-wall Ethiopian (or Indonesian, Pakistani, Russian…) restaurant, posted up in the front row of an indie hip-hop show, convincing myself this is finally the year for my hometown Cleveland Browns, or perfecting my pour-over coffee technique at home on Saturday mornings.
